Shree Swamiji's Visit to Moscow
Moscow, July 8, 2006: By the grace of Shree Hari, Vayu and Gurugalu - His Holiness 1008 Shree Shree Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji successfully completed his trip to Moscow attending the World Conference on Religion and Peace. Swamiji addressed the audience in the presence of President of Russia Mr. Vladimir Putin delivering the message of Peace.
Addressing the gathering Shree Swamiji highlighted the fact that in this age of economic globalization it is also important that people act as one entity striving for world peace which translates to the word " Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ". During the address Shree Swamiji also mentioned that it is good to emulate the Indian system of religious tolerance or independence.
